Hugh Jackman Olivia Newton-John
Olivia Newton-John will perform at Australia Plays Broadway, and Baz Luhrmann will be honored at a Black Tie Gala for G’Day USA: Australia Week 2009.
Hugh Jackman will present Luhrmann with an award for his outstanding contributions to the arts at the gala raising funds for, and featuring the exceptional work of Australian Surf Lifesavers.
Amanda Harrison, Simon Burke, Lior, Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, Jimmy Barnes, Ursula Yovich, David Campbell, twin cellists Pei-Jee and Pei-Sian Ng and many others will join Olivia Newton-John for the Australia Plays Broadway performance at Carnegie Hall.
The G’Day USA: Australia Week 2009 Gala, on January 23, and Australia Plays Broadway, on January 20, events will lead up to Australia Day, on January 26.
